The challenges/ Objective of the project

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals was challenged to design and implement Security Access Control Systems with Automatic Vehicle Parking identification for multi-storage buildings.

The programs at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, are highly regarded among different universities in Saudi Arabia and nearby regions. During the year 2013, the university was facing the challenge to design, develop, and implement Security Access Control Systems with Automatic Vehicle Parking identification for multi-storage buildings, which would help them strengthen their security services to block the entrance of threats and hackers from the backdoor which ultimately minimizes the chances of damage in the organization.

Business outcomes/ Insights/ Stats

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has met the industry's high-security standards, which earlier were impossible to tackle.

As one of the universities established in Saudi Arabia, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has a special place in petroleum and minerals. However, they regularly analyzed threats, as the system was outdated and cannot fully tackle the risk factors.

Lantern helped them design and implement Security Access Control Systems with Automatic Vehicle Parking identification for multi-storage buildings with structured cabling to quickly examine the threats entering from back doors and take adequate steps to mitigate risk factors.
